Payroll & HR: leading providers compete for your business.
You do not need to shop two, three, or four payroll and HR providers on your own. Growth Advisory Network (GAN) is an agnostic payroll broker and HR consultant: we bring your requirements to leading providers through vetted representatives and established relationships, then help you compare the options and move forward with confidence.
Any size company. Any industry. Anywhere in the USA.
What could $15 per employee save you?
If GAN helped you reduce payroll & HR service costs by $15 per employee per month, here’s what that could mean for your business.
$15 × 10 employees × 12 months = $1,800 cost savings potential per year.
Illustrative savings potential—not a quote or guarantee. Actual savings depend on your current costs, required services, and provider proposals.

Why compare payroll and HR providers with GAN?
Vetted representatives
Work with provider representatives GAN has vetted, rather than starting over with a different sales team at every company. Our established relationships help you get to the right conversations.
Pre-negotiated discounts
GAN brings pre-negotiated discounts and preferred pricing opportunities to clients and prospects. Available terms depend on the provider, services, and your business requirements; we help you understand the complete proposal.
A coordinated mini-RFP
A request for proposal, or RFP, gives providers the same business requirements to respond to. GAN runs a focused, practical version: suitable leading companies compete for your business, and you compare their proposals rather than repeating your story.
Support beyond the introduction
GAN stays with you through evaluation, selection, and the transition. We help coordinate next steps with your chosen provider so the process runs smoothly and the services fit your business.
Compare the payroll & HR cost per employee.
We help you compare the cost per employee for the payroll and HR services your business needs—through a coordinated mini-RFP, established provider relationships, and pre-negotiated discounts.
The chart below shows rising national compensation costs—not payroll or HR service prices. That broader budget pressure is a reason to review the service costs you can choose. GAN focuses on provider pricing and fit, not changing what you pay your employees.

Total compensation includes wages and salaries plus benefits. These are nominal U.S. private-industry averages, not payroll-provider fees, an inflation-adjusted series, or a prediction for your company. Five December snapshots are shown; intervening quarters are not plotted. Workforce mix can change these averages, so this is not a fixed-workforce wage-growth measure.
Compare proposals using the same employee count and required services, including base fees and extras—not just the headline per-employee rate. GAN helps you evaluate and negotiate those provider costs; actual pricing and discounts depend on your business, service scope, and provider. The chart is not a GAN savings estimate.
Small process gaps can become expensive problems.
A missing HR title does not automatically put a business at risk. Missing ownership, accurate records, or dependable follow-through can. Choose a scenario to see the gap, the possible exposure, and what to ask providers.
Payroll tax oversight
Process gap: A tax deposit is missed, and no one verifies the payment.
Possible cost: Unpaid taxes can lead to penalties and interest. For standard payroll-service outsourcing, the IRS warns that the employer remains responsible; third-party arrangements can differ.
Ask providers: Who deposits and files each tax, how can we verify payments, and who resolves a missed deposit?

Time and wage records
Process gap: Hours worked, pay changes, and overtime records are incomplete.
Possible cost: You may need to reconstruct records and correct pay. The Department of Labor requires accurate hours and wage records for covered non-exempt workers.
Ask providers: How do time tracking, approvals, overtime settings, and record retention work together for our employees?
Employee-data handoffs
Process gap: A new hire or employee change is copied between disconnected systems.
Possible cost: Manual handoffs can create duplicate work, inconsistent records, and payroll corrections. This is an illustrative operational risk—not a measured loss or a claim that a particular provider prevents every error.
Ask providers: Which onboarding and employee changes flow into payroll, who checks them, and where do exceptions go?
These are possible consequences, not inevitable outcomes or a claim that your business has these gaps. GAN compares services and coordinates introductions; your provider delivers the selected services. Consult qualified legal and tax advisers about your obligations.

Payroll and HR comparison frequently asked questions
How is using GAN different from shopping payroll and HR providers myself?
GAN coordinates the comparison through vetted representatives and established provider relationships. Instead of independently contacting two, three, or four providers, you share your requirements with GAN and we help organize a mini-RFP, compare proposals, and support your next steps.
What is a payroll and HR mini-RFP?
It is a focused request for proposals built around your business needs. GAN helps suitable providers respond to a consistent set of requirements so they compete for your business and you can make a more informed comparison of services, support, and pricing.
Can GAN help a business of my size, industry, or location?
Yes. GAN works with any size company, in any industry, anywhere in the USA. The provider shortlist and services are tailored to your requirements; individual provider offerings and eligibility can vary.
Does GAN offer payroll and HR discounts?
GAN has pre-negotiated discounts and preferred pricing opportunities through its provider relationships for clients and prospects. The specific offer depends on the provider, selected services, and your business. GAN helps you review the actual proposal rather than promising a fixed savings percentage.
Does GAN replace the payroll or HR provider?
No. Your selected provider delivers the payroll and HR services. GAN helps you evaluate providers, access the right representatives, compare options, and coordinate a smooth process while you remain in control of the decision.
Will GAN stay involved after a provider introduction?
Yes. GAN stays with you during evaluation, selection, and the transition to help coordinate next steps and make sure the chosen services address your business needs.
What should I prepare for the first conversation?
Bring your employee count, operating locations, current provider if you have one, the services you need, key challenges, and your preferred timeline. You do not need a formal RFP to begin.
